Overview: Dizzy Lizzie’s farm is a farm based in Erieville, New York. The farm offers organically grown spices, jams, pesto, and more, all available to order online from her website. While designing her new website I also designed a new visual identity. Incorporating her original colors was important to her brand. In keeping with her original brand colors, I designed a new logo, packaging style, and a style guide for future designs.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
Logo & Packaging Design
Dizzy Lizzie’s Farm rebranding project came with some requested guidelines, including keeping the colors of her existing brand the same. With that in mind, I still wanted to create a new and fresh feel with her logo that wasn’t a complete departure from existing identity. I introduced new fonts and styles that were then implemented into new packaging and her new website design, to reinforce her new identity.
After going through some reiterations and critiques, we landed on this new logo.
The unique color palette still feels true to her exisitng brand while giving it a clean and appealing new look.
Brand Style Guide
This one page style guide acts as a rulebook that specifies how the logo, fonts, and colors are to be used to maintain consistency across different brand collateral, including social media and e-mail marketing.
A more in depth brand style guide might include examples of how logos are used, as well as examples of how they are not to be used. It would also give examples of typography and their hierarchy.
Brand Collateral
This thank you card is an example of a creative asset utilizing the new style guide. This connects the brand to the customer with a personalized thank you and strengthens the relationship while reinforcing their new identity.
It’s also used as a form of marketing, to promote their e-commerce website and bring awareness to their online store. This is especially helpful for customers buying their products at a farmers market or other avenue who aren’t aware of their website and the ability to order more products with ease.
