Logo Design
I’ve been attending Syracuse basketball games from before I could even talk. So after at least 20 years of absorbing the Syracuse brand, even subconsciously I decided to design my own take on the Syracuse Basketball logo.
With an orange and a basketball both being circular, I came up with this idea to incorporate both. The brand doesn’t typical incorporate much imagery or iconography. They often use a simple script font and have even departed from their “S” logo that has gone through a variety of iterations over the years.
Apparel Design
After I designed this logo, I sent it to an Instagram page run by a fan who often printed and sold apparel and other graphics. They decided to print and sell my logo on t-shirts and sweatshirts about three years ago and I actually still get to see it at games from time to time.
